Itīs a great heli but the engine is a piece of shi... Difficult to get the best carb.setting and the fan is not balanced. This engine was not at the same level of the rest of the heli. I made little modifications over it to fit a new Zenoah RC230 into instead the horrible Tanaka unit. Thatīs like day and night. I use it as camera ship so I cannot talk you first hand about aerobatic perfomances. A friend do the same way as me but for 3D use and playing with a governor runs the unit at 1700 rpm with the 97/12 gear relation and he told me itīs awesome.
BTW with a gasser you can use the main magnets to use the governor instead of the spare magnets.
Difficult imo to make a top start conversion and as soon as you make your first flight with a gasser will enjoy to let all the flying box at home.
