The truckzilla kit has larger tires that in turn decreases (numerically) the final drive ratio. This decrease will increase the tire speed per engine rotation. This will compensate for the lack of engine rpm. That is why it seems faster then it should with a decrease of engine rpm. Get it?
you can always just use the stock tires...........hot bodies rims are junk anyway.
Gotta disagree with that statement. My HB rims have outlasted my stock rims by months & are still going strong. One is showing signs of a slip or two on the hex but I'm betting that had a lot to do with a loose wheel nut.
