Go with the stampede. Its the first rc I bought about 2 years ago and I still never broken a part(aside from a rear axle thanks to my D6 motor). It was a real shock when I switched to nitro...broken arms and shock towers everywhere[]...like a war zone on my work table right now. Anyways...see if you can find the kit version of the stampede because the traxxas radios are junky as you propably know from your T-maxx
