my friend just bought a little stampede and its pretty cool.hes just getting into the hobby.he was saving up for a t-maxx like mine but he gave up and got his pede, lol
anyway it sparked my interest into electric again.i made some money over easter,i made $221.50 workign for my grandpa and im wondering if i should fix my old mountaineer or get a new electric.i need three servos, reciever, and radio for the mountaineer to get it MOVING again, there is still lots of other stuff that needs fixing thanks to moisture in the attic,it was mint condition when i put it up there a couple years ago.[:@]any way i was iether going to get an MX-3 radio for my t-maxx and use the stock traxxas one and servos for the mountaineer but ill have to get the forward only shaft for the maxx so i can dispose of the reverse servo.or i was thinking of getting an all new electric truck.what electric MTs can you get for $221.50?oh ya,im in canada, things are a little pricier here[:'(]thanks for any opinions.

If you need ground clearence, and parts avaliability, go with the stampede. If you dont mind it sitting lower, get a used rs4mt electric(discontinued now). Good luck

thanks for the opinions and thing s are way more expencive here in alberta.for example, on the thread,"who busy your nitro"people are saying that they par $24 a gallon of fuel adn here im pain $35 a gallon.i have 236.50 now adn that has to pay for truck, accesaries, and tax.emaxxs are $450 at my LHS so i dont think 236.50 will cover it.

I was thinking of buying a mini-t so i can zoom zoom around the house when im not running my nitro buggies. What do they come with batteries and chargers or would i have to buy something? I would go look at the losi site but im too lazy and figured it would be easier posting here.

i dont like T3s or at least the one i saw suked.it broke the very first jump and after a quik pit fix it broke again cause a electric rustler(stalk i might add)came up behind it and hit the back and the rear body mount broke.it was really brittle.

wow sure is alot of people from alberta on the forum
Go with the stampede. Its the first rc I bought about 2 years ago and I still never broken a part(aside from a rear axle thanks to my D6 motor
). It was a real shock when I switched to nitro...broken arms and shock towers everywhere[
]...like a war zone on my work table right now. Anyways...see if you can find the kit version of the stampede because the traxxas radios are junky as you propably know from your T-maxx
Good luck

just a little info i got my rustler with ESC for under 150 shipped and thats including state sales tax. that would leave you with plenty of room for modifications or to buy another servo/reciever to use the radio from your nitro or something....
