Default RE: Trying to Decide on an Extra 300

I have two of the GP extra 300s ( one with OS 91 4-stroke and one with Saito 100 4-stroke)

They fly great and are very responsive. I don't like the ABS cowl and wheel pants, they have a bad cracking tendacy.

I also have both of the Vector Flight Extras (58" and 66")

They also fly quite well and are very stable. The foam wings make these airplanes a little heavier, but still fly great.
The customer service at Vector Flight cannot be beat!!

My suggestion would be for the Vector Flight. It is an easy build and a great flier. I would trash the wheel pants (come in two halves that you will have to assemble) and use some fiberglass pants from hanger 9 (I got a pair for $15) and they look outstanding right out of the box. The material that VF uses for the cowl and belly pan is not ABS and is VERY durable. I wish GP would use that material.

Just my advise for what it's worth
