Default What is it about this hobby?

Mike.....ya know,...It took me a while to do it, but I finally hired gardeners for the yards, get the neighbor kid to wash the car for 5$to10$, and got the wife a new computer, so I could have one all to myself, strictly for my internetRC stuff. So I don't have to feel bad when the yards don't get done...heck I just make sure the sprinklers work. I don't even think about grass anymore. I get the yards done for about the price of a "gallon of fuel a week". The only car I have to worry about is the wife's ride, as for my little truck,,,I just clean windows, wisk broom the inside...done. It hauls planes great, and I don't have to be concerned about the dust from flying field.
You've only just begun it sounds like, and it's so cool to see someone else that is really enjoying the hobby to that degree. And.....your spending time with your kids, and teaching them a craft that could potentially last them a life time.
Just don't let burn-out set in, I experience it occasionally, and it's tough forcing myself to go build/fly. Once I do though, it takes me 5 seconds to know why I do it. ITS FUN>>>
