RE: Capiche 50
well, youll prob say i am bull sh*ting here. but this is how it went
i took off for the first flight since the UC was ripped out, i pulled a few feet up, did a quick roll, pulled vertical. about 20-30 foot up i did a quick rolling harrier circle then tumble, still about 25 foot up, it entered a inv spin. well i tried to exit it but it hit the ground with a crack. well, i laughed, turned around to the pits said 'o dear, i didnt want it to do that', then i dawned on me. "F**K"!!!!!! well i looked over the plane then i found the rudder had about 60-70deg at on the rudder at center stick. we bent the rudder a bit and found if we pushed it hard enough the gears would jump! not strip tho, so it must have jumped on the tumble sending it into a spin. withing 25 feet i couldnt do anything much to stop it, far less workign out to add full opposite rudder and trim to make it about 10 deg of rudder. if i did do that it would have only hit the deck harder, of if i managed to exit the spin i prob wuld have just lety go off the rudd thinking it was flying ok just for it to crashagain.
o well, it happens to the best of us.
