when you say you want to upgrade the motor, do you mean just the motor, or do you want an entirely new outboard unit? In that case look into the graupner 650 outboard. Otherwise you can simply upgrade to a new motor and put that in your outboard unit. As far as what motor is good, I cant tell you, for I dont know what your esc is rated for, i.e. amps/turns. In any event, you may consider a simple graupner 600 or equivalent motor. If you can find the esc ratings I can give you a better suggestion.
