The Ultimate 40 flies like a much bigger plane. You will not find a more stable platform in a 40-sized airplane anywhere. It will perform just about any maneuver you can think up. ALL tail surfaces are pull-pull and there are 2 aileron servos. With large aileron throws, the roll rate is so faster than you can imagine. I had MG mini servos in mine on a 4.8V pack which were MORE than enough for the plane. Go for light weight wherever possible as the low wing loading is one of the plane's secrets to its great flying characteristics. The gear is a little soft and will bend fairly easily, but all you have to do is bend it back into shape! I used a YS63 and used a 13x6 APC prop running CoolPower 30% heli fuel in mine and the performance was out of this world. You can do knife edge loops as easy as pie and just about any spinning maneuver you can think of. The plane also fits right in the back of any SUV without disassembling it which was a cool feature. About the only area that I needed to beef up on mine were the aileron interconnecting struts which should be replaced with carbon rods or stronger rods of some sort.
