I've had a couple of caps (H9), one with a YS140 and now one with a bme50. The YS landed easier than the heavy gasser, but neither of them float in. You have to maintain some speed or you'll stall, which would start the plane pitching downward just before touch down. Also, check your elevator trim. I'm not a great flyer and the cap can sometimes be a handful.
