RE: mixing fuel
I had to run in the pump as per instructions for my new Wren, so I added the turbine oil and swished all around, put a clunk with felt filter in the bottom of the jerry can, and put a short pipe on the pump that was about an inch above the kerosene level and ran the motor for an hour. My theory was that this would agitate and bring the fuel and oil up and gradully mix it through.
I did note that the colour of the fuel was a uniform orange when finished but when I started I noted it light orange at the top and dark at the bottom.
I am going to try and run the engine for the first time today, we may find out how good this process was!!!
