Kevin, for all practical purposes,,, The Q500 MVVS engine should give you speeds in the 140mph area, in a level flight.
To acheive speeds in the 200 mph area,,, you'll have to consider all factors involved, like air temperature, humidity, barometric presure and things of that nature. All of those factors will affect the speed of your plane and for you to even get close to 200 mph, you'd have to be in the same atmospheric conditions that those guys were in when they claimed to go over 200 mph,,, but then again, anybody can put their plane in a big dive and go fast.
So don t get discouraged because you are not able to go 200 mph,,, it takes time and alot of hard practice,,, you'll get there one day,,, just keep practicing
