Normally, models are included in your homeowner’s coverage. Check with your agent. It depends from insurance company to insurance company and state to state.
The AMA insurance is not “secondary” but, is “excess”. That means that any other coverage you have comes before the AMA policy. If you have homeowner’s, the AMA coverage kicks in after the homeowner’s has reached it limits. On the other hand, if you have no other coverage, the AMA coverage is primary.
