Default RE: vectorflight edge540

Heres the recent reply I got from Vectorflight.

"We have looked up several carriers that we normally do not deal with, including DHL and UPS. Because the package is considered oversize by all carriers, the freight charges are very high, over US$300 for the least expensive. The defining length size is 42 inches, which is only about 3 inches more than our box size. But the length plus girth measurements are also a problem. Even if we go with 2 boxes, the overall shipping charges will be prohibitive."

Bugger.
