Default RE: Funtana Engine Advice?

just in case you guys were wondering, the funtana in that Video is set up with the stock hardware. used everything that came with the plane. only reason i have a new scheme is because after flying it for months i decided to check for stresses. i found one minor joint that came lose, but wouldnt have effected anything.

i am running a YS 63 with a Master airscrew 13x6 K-series prop on wildcat YS 20/20 fule.

that funtana is gone now due to a mid air. but i was so impressed with the plane that i had a new one ready to fly the next weekend.

the YS 63 is a good choice if you are at or near sea level. i am about 100 feet above it.
if you are higher than sea level you may want to think about the saito 91. the YS would hover it but you would be about 2 clicks from full throttle.(trust me, i have done this) the saito 91 would be a much better combo at higher altitude. if your altitude is way up in the stratosphere then i would not blame you for going with the saito 100. might need it to grap what limited air there is up there.

PS: the new Saito 82 would be a great choice for sea level. wont know for sure till it is tried though
