MTV generation? I have been to many fly in's where the pilots flew to classical music, hardly MTV gen material, and it was a nice addition to the demonstration.

If you don't like it then stay at home or leave, your choice. Don't just arbitrarily knock someone elses idea until you have experienced it in person. Besides, I can't think of any music that can drown out a DA or 3W when it's down low and close and being flown hard, so that really isn't an issue in the first place.

Oh and FWIW I have also been to contests where they did play music that wasn't to my liking over the PA and I DID leave because of it.
