Here's a pic of how I reinforced the stabilizer. It came off on my first landing(not crash!). Any ideas on strengthening the wing mounts? The inserts pulled loose after a couple of flights too. I re-glued with more epoxy this time but it still seems weak. Also will post a pic of my aileron setup.

My second Terry (first had a tree visit) did fly very bad. I could not find out what was wrong.
It had heavy nose dive. Later I found out..
The elevator tail wing mount was not okay. The metal mount became lose! Lucky enough I always ad a bit of duct tape below the tail wing. This did save me.
I did glue the metal part again. This time a bit different.
In the metal part there are two holes.
If you make in the tail at these places also a small shaft (using a small stick) in a angle of about 30degrees, the epoxy glue can glide into it and it makes a kind of anker.

The rest is the tail piece with two shaft.
8888 is the open part (for the tail wood/cabels).

Let the glue also covering the upper part of the metal.
Now it is far more solid.
It is also wise to ad a small strip of duct tape below the tailwing. You never know...
For making these shafts into the tail I used wooden sticks, we use here in Holland for BBQ "meat sticks"
