I think it is an insult to play music at an event like this. What is wrong with the natural engine sounds?
Maybe you would like muffled exaust on race cars so you could play loud rock misic instead of hearing the cars.
I think the MTV generation has gone overboard with wanting to cram there music down evertone elses throat.
If I went to an airshow and they are playing music thru the PA, I will leave.
But I guess you don't care. Do you?

i guess ron that everyone has a different opinion on music and flying but personally i see being able to fly to the beat or rythym of the music as talent as opposed to just flying and being able to do any maneuvere at any time. If you can move with the music i see that as much more challenging than flying itself. I was purely looking for a different aspect on flying at shows because the club i fly at the airshows are usually the same old, same old, the warbirds and the occasional skilled pilot who can do something different. im deffinately not saying I dislike warbirds i would just like to show the public ehat our palnes are really capable of and how skilled some pilots really are. If you dont like the "MTV" generation youd better hide under a very big rock coz the furture just so happens to be the MTV generation. Another thing the MTV generation like to see something different like people who do out there stuff. i spoke to some of my fellow model pilots about my ideas on the display with music and they agreed that it would be challenging but something the public would enjoy, and they are all 40+, no MTV generation input there.
Well thats my opinion and if you dont like it too bad
