RE: kangaroo
hey guys thanks for the help, im not gonna use the comp arf gear, it sounds like too much hassel. One more question for you all, i have a complete set of 3 rhom retracts that i bought for a byron f 16 some years ago, can they handle the weight of a Roo 2 ? i have tried to search all over the internet and i cant find any info on rhom retracts, are they out of business? i must say i'm new to these RC fourms and i'm glad i finally found these, i do have about 12 yrs of flying RC, with the last 7yrs or so flying jets. i am currently flying a BVM mig 15 with a p80, which is a sweet plane, but u really need to beef up the gear area. this is why i just got the Roo 2 , i want a everyday jet that can take a nice bounce now and then and not send me home bitter. i live in las vegas and i have a small field only 600 feet and there is drainage ditch all the way around it, so no run off. i havent ran off the runway yet but i have been forced to rush landings a few times and that has caused me to have to repair wing area around the gear. any input of the rhoms would be nice, thanks GUYS.
