FLAT SPINS?
If the nose will not drop so the plane returnes to a normal spin, power is the key to flat spin recovery, you must get the entire airplane going forward for the controls to work properly. In a flat spin the slip stream no longer flows over the vertical fin so rudder no longer workes properly.
I have found it is best to keep a little throtle on to insure ihe engine is runing if it is needed.
