I recentley bought one of these. i am yet to fit it but have a few queries

I bought this as was reccomended by my lhs as having lots of low and mid range. ideal for small twisty tracks.

I have read another post in this forum about these and other engines and basically they are saying that this engine is poor on the low and has lots of mid and top. They are saying that this is ideal for oval and large true 1/8 scale tracks?

Which is is small twisty and lots of low or large spacey and lots of top???
