I too, had a similar problem with a new G-62. When I took the insulator block off to Locktite the bolts in, I re-installed the block upside down from the pulse hole. After 2 days of frustration, and a suggestion from Ralph I took the carb off and saw my problem. Good luck; the G-45 is a great engine.............
