Hi, Zanasi went at my house and he brought his helicopter so I can help him out.
We followed the instructions in the manual but we couldn't ajust the travel limit as we wanted.
Fist, Our problem is that the travel to the right is less than the travel to the left. So the heli is very slowturn to the right because as you said the torque of the main rotor is always happy to help the heli turn left.
I will write the instructions and feedback what we did:
Locate the tail lock switch on the G5000T amplifier, and move the switch to
the OFF position. This will allow for proper servo end point travel adjustment.
We did.
Reset the switch to the desired position once the endpoint limiter has been adjusted.
We didn't understand that part. Reset what Switch? We tought it could be the tail lock switch, so we did as if it is.
With your radio system on, give a full right rudder command. Using a small
straight screwdriver, adjust the servo travel limiter while noticing the rudder servo.
Adjust the potentiometer until the servo has maximum available travel but no binding occurs.
Give a full left rudder command and adjust the limiter as needed to the point just before the servo binds. This sets the maximum available travel and eliminates linkage binding / over-stroking while the helicopter is on the ground.
Ok, We did that, but here comes the problem. Fist he set the max value of the right rudder command, it's works perfectly, but when we give left rudder binding occurs. So we set the left rudder so no binding occurs, but when we do that, the right max value come back to the old value. This happends because there is only one pot to set the max value of the right and left rudders, and it's seems that it is linked.
That's the problem!
