You are right the judge was deducting as if we were flying a zoned box. He was unaware of the new rules when I told him there were no center or end figures you should have seen his face. As I was told he has not flown imac in 2 years and has not been to a recent seminar. I believe I was the one who flipped out. This judge was definitely not QUALIFIED to be judging and should not have been sitting in that chair. There were plenty of judges that were at this years seminar at the event and could have judged basic. As a pilot in basic I hate when someone is judging me that does not know the rules. or someone who gives scores one does not deserve. most all of the judges are very qualified but sometimes things happen. The CD's have a very hard time on event day to think about asking someone if they are up on the rules they seem to be relieved that someone said they would judge. Problem solved onto the next one.
All in all for the things that went wrong that weekend it was a good event. RAIN RAIN GO AWAY[]
