Default PATTERN.... can it do 3D

My experience with the G-Trick is that is a smooth flying machine! I LOVE mine. Altough it has the large control surfaces required for 3D, it's weight is a bit tooo much for 3D. It's a great pattern, freestyle plane. I have a YS 91 un-piped on mine. It will do well with a 120, but then you're adding more weight.

I haven't seen the Tai-Ji or Zen fly, but I believe it has slightly smaller control surfaces. Not sure on the weight, but what I've read others like these planes for their pattern capabilities.

I believe you can get the G-Trick at Central Hobbies for $500 now. Got mine at that price in Dec. If you get it, go over the fuse formers with epoxy or CA, and the firewall as well.

It flies awesome. But not as light as I'd like for 3D.

Hope this helps,
Scott
