OK I got the remote and servo thing figured out. Now i need a battery for this thing. Can the battery power both the reciever and the motor so I don't have to run 12 AA batterys. Just 8 in the remote. I can see this hobby being another money pit ;-).


Another note I have a tendency to over do all my hobbys. If i keep it and get a remote and battery I'll eventually want to trick it out convert it to 4 wheel drive and beef up the motors. Imma sucker for more power and more noise. I spend enough money on the 74 impala im in the middle of restoring ;-).



Any links on how to convert a 2 wheel drive electric 1/10 truck to a 4 wheel drive truck. Im hooked and in it full speed ahead.


P.S. I just got done putting the kit together. I'll I have to do know is order the remote and battery. the manuel says it need 7.2 volts.
