Looking back at the pictures of the original damage, I'd say you're good to go. As long as you got those tri pieces to bond well to the former, there's not much more you can do that would add enough extra strength to warrent the extra work.

I say fly it.

But one note: Never stand in front of ANY engine that is running above idle! This is a good reson why. From your pic, the joint looks good. It may even look good in person, and may in fact BE a good joint. But supposing over time you gave the plane to someone else. And maybe they were not aware of the previous damage. And maybe the glue got brittle over time.

It's a lot of Maybe's, but maybe it's a good reason to never stand in front of an engine!
