Yeah dude go for it why not. But if you wanna keep the plane alive I would suggest finding someone that can help you. Just find a hobbyshop nearby. I saw a hobby shop somewhere between 50 and 46 on 7th Ave. You have to go down some stairs into it. They might help you get staerted or let u know of fields or instructors nearby. Just take the subway up there early and find the place.
