Recommended glow plugs are hot plugs such as the O.S. A8.

Recommended carb settings are as follows. Top end adjustment, 3 1/8 turns out. Bottom end adjustment, 2 1/2 turns in from flush.

The 3rd speed adjustment is internal. Loosen 1/4 turn at a time until you achieve 3rd speed. Loosening each screw will make the gears shift earlier, while tightening them will delay shifting.
