most buggies look the same because they are the same, they have to be the same or else you couldnt have a buggy class, and to be perfectly honest I went from a mbxr2 to a hyper 7 and could hardly tell the difference between the two, they both handled like buggies because thats exactly what they are. I mean sure you can have differences like C-hub or pbs, upright servo tray or laydown servo tray, Torsen diff, spider diff, or standard diff, etc....... I just personally think that when it all comes down to it the driver is what wins the race.
Further proof that our equipment routinly exceeds the skills of those that operate it. While I'm pretty much the same way when it comes to skill, never doubt that the top level pros can't tell a difference in the smallest changes. I've done plenty of setup for pro drivers and if they say they want 40 weight oil in the front shocks, don't think you can get awya with 35 or 45.
