hi, you're right about the use of flaperons, thats about all they do.you use flaperons also in manouvers such as the wall, square loops, it just gives it that bit omphs.
spoilerons are for harriers, it reduces the chord of wing creating less lift, so you can go slightly faster when you're in the harrier, it's also sometimes called airbrakes by the glider people.
I only use spoileronson my flip for harriers, it walls fine with just elevator.
