Default RE: Sport plane as a 2nd??

Depending on what your flying style is, I would say:

- ULTRA STICK with flaps (GO CROW!!! Harrier for days, light breeze = harrier landings), not too fast though, builds easier than most trainers, manual is extremely detailed.
- Extra or Edge or Sukoi or Giles, just watch for the snap (a.k.a. the tip stall), keep the air speed up and get used to hotter landings, learn neat tricks, step up to 3-D flying, yay!!
- U-Can-Do-3d, awesome, easy to build, learn to hover in a week, not too fast but awesome 3-D performance for cheap.
- T-34 is nice for warbird look, if you fly off of grass don't think about retracts unless you like bending the gears back every few flights. any world models plane get's a thumbs up from me.
- Aresti - FAI kinda guy? Fly pattern easily with this, IMAC Basic - Sportsman, buddy of mine can do rolling harriers in his.

Again you might want to assess how you like to fly then move upward from there.

have fun!
