Here in New York a 35 min drive will get you about 6 miles depending on what day it is. For me to go to the field it takes about 2 hours one way and about 2 hours on the way back, 4 Hours is a long time driving. I will honestly do it the RIGHT way and fly with an instructor at least 5 times so I can get the feel of real flying. I have the controls down pretty well and I will no doubt do well because I have been working on it for more then a year.
