RE: Help with HUMMIGBIRD
Hi there, so are you saying that the helicopter will not get off the ground, or when it does get airborne it is just all over the place?
If it the first re-check everything through the manual, then check again. I have the Hummingbird with collective pitch so I have no experience with the fixed pitch version.
If it is the latter then it would seem to be almost normal as these things, as mentioned above are scatty at the best of times. One thing though, how high are you getting her off the ground and then expecting her to hover, if you can, push your self to get her about 2 feet off the ground, things will be a lot more stable, but just make sure you have the room to recover from your mistakes.
One thing I did notice in my case, is that the more people you talk to the more difficult it sounds to do and you end up getting a mental block. You then make yourself think it is harder than it really is. I'm not saying it is easy by any means but did you not learn to ride a push bike?
Good luck!
8 days to learn, two charged birdseed Nicads and I was there :-)
