Hmm. I have seen Garrett Morrison use one along with one other individual at my club. That loud sound indiciates to me to small of a prop or the motor is just a monster[8D]. That sound is probably the prop ripping.

They didn't make any different noises or loudness than any other plane out there. I heard they change pitch though in flight slightly. Which is really cool.
