Your buds plane is definetly tail heavy. The CAPX is very sensitive to correct CG. My first flight was the same way you descriped.
quite uncofortable-check out my posts in the first part of this thread- but moving the CG just forward of the recommemded 3.5 inches makes a world of difference, including the landing. Elevator throw on low should only be around 10 degrees, that will be plenty for normal aerobatics. Out of the 3, 3d planes I own right now DP EDGE, WH EXTRA, and the CAPX, the CAPX is the only one that will harrier comfortably without wing rocking, but the other two are far less sensitve to elevator inputs due to being larger and longer. Get the CG forward and sneak up on the throws and it is a very good plane.
