People will probably jump on this from a great height for saying this but we have had several
hotspots,kangaroos and even a rookie flying in our club all are great in the air but landings have to be spot on
and preferably on a runway.
We have a 450 foot close mown grass strip and all have come to grief on landing and all have been flown by experienced flyers
Our current fleet is a yellow F18 twin a eurofighter an AD large Rafale and my own Avonds F15 and we dont suffer the same
landing characteristics that these delta`s do,if your going to fly from a paved runway then give it a go but from grass strips especially slightly crosswind
then beware.

This is just my experience of them and i bet there are a lot out there who have had no problems at all
so like you say get lots of info before you jump in.
