Default RE: Aeroworks 33% Ultimate

I've had mine flying for a couple of weeks. The kit went together well. Some fit and finish problems, but nothing that can't be fixed. It really is a great flier.

(6) 5945 on the ali and elevators, (2) 8611 for the rudder mounted on the tail, (2) 9602 for the throttle and choke. I'm using the power box competition with (2) 2100 sub c batteries mounted just in front of the CG and (1) 2100 sub c for the ignition. I'm using the DA 100 with DA mufflers and 3W 27 x 10.

The one thing that I struggled with the most is the flying wire. Maiden flight took me about 45 minutes to put the wires on. Now that the wires have stretched a bit and I used a little lock tight to keep the turn buckles together it takes about 15 minutes. In this case practice makes perfect.

Over all the design is one of the best. Fit and finish is far better that I could have ever done, but not perfect. It took me 38 hours to complete the kit. I also went with the vinyl decals.

This is a real treat to watch fly and actually fly. If I had it to do again I would go with an ARC and cover it in the Blue Hawk scheme.

Here are some pics from the weekend. If you need any other pics let me know:
