Default BT 109e engine mounting problem

Hello,

I have a BT 109e that i am wanting to finish off. One of the many jobs that i need to do is mount the engine. Now the main problem is that the plans i have are extremely faded and i cannot get any information off them about the engine mounting. Can anyone help on how to mount the engine?
The engine mount that i have is similar to this one
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXD633&P=ML.

My dad was the one building it previously to me so i am having to figure what he was intending to do.
The holes in the firewall do not make sense to me, they extend into the foam paddding for the fuel tank. Would it be best to apply a plate to whic i can mount the engine.

Any ideas?
