Default BT 109e engine mounting problem

Hello,

I have a BT 109e that i am wanting to finish off. One of the many jobs that i need to do is mount the engine. Now the main problem is that the plans i have are extremely faded and i cannot get any information off them about the engine mounting. Can anyone help on how to mount the engine?
The engine mount that i have is similar to this one
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXD633&P=ML.

My dad was the one building it previously to me so i am having to figure what he was intending to do.
The holes in the firewall do not make sense to me, they extend into the foam paddding for the fuel tank. Would it be best to apply a plate to whic i can mount the engine.

Any ideas?

If you are wondering what the aluminium box is that is the exhaust sytem that my father came up with. Its an aluminium box with a manifold that extends into the box with small holes drillerd through it. I am guessing that he was trying to get a better sound from the .90 2 stroke. I am concerned that i may reduce power through lack of airflow.

I am thinking the 4 holes were for some kind of vibration reduction mount. Like 2 rubber discs squeezed between 2 washers with a cap screw and nut. I have heard of such a set up. I havn't seen any to date. The muffler was probably intended to use a tuned pipe header and silicone tubing to connect to the muffler. I would use it. Looks just fine to me. You may need to close down the outlet some. And add a pressure outlet. Just get some cooling into the muffler's area. And allow for plenty of air exit area. Basicly twice the inlet area. Good luck with the plane.

Hello,

I have looked at the mount and where it may need to screw to the firewall but the holes do not correspond. Im not sure what you mean by the screws and the washers. I dot mean to be a pain but do you know of anywhere that info on this mount system? It looks as though that i will need to put in another plate to put the screws into.
I have the header that you are talking about. All i need is the tubing to the exhaust manifold.
