Default Hyper 7 experience

Hi Guys,

Just thought i would share my hyper experiences so far.

Brought a Hyper 7 PBS RTR Pro 3 weeks ago, when i received it the transmitter would control both channels so i have sent that back for repair or replace, luckily i have another remote

The settings that came from new were HSN 4 turns out, MRN flush and LSN 3.5 turns out from flush after adding some fuel and trying to pullstart it was a no fire so i decide it was time for the hairdryer and after heating the crank case it fired 2nd pull. I did 1 tank idle, 1 tank 3 minute idle cool then repeat then another idle tank. The next 6 tanks were quarter throttle and taking it easy. Another 2 tanks quarter to WOT doing burst runs (BTW no need to heat crank case now) and boy is it bloody quick seems to take a bit to warm up though but i guess its still not fully broken in yet?

Well after the last start i brought it back in to cool and run another tank and when i lifted the cover what did i see a broken pullstart apprantely the high compression motors sometimes reverse and suck the pullstart back in on itself and cause them to snap, so i must be one of those lucky ones

So i will be getting a new pullstart tomorrow to get the beast back up and runing.

Current needle settings at the moment are HSN 3.25 out, MRN flush and LSN 3 turns out from flush and is runing quite nicely i think the LSN needle require some more tweaking but will see.

Sorry for dribbling but thought i would share.

kind regards.

EDIT - Motor is a Hyper 8 port turbo
