Well I'm sure you are right, but in my case for example, I fly at my farm in the middle of nowhere all the time, I have never flyed in an AMA or any flying club, just my farm and I love going all over the place as It's only me. so I really think they should have put an option in there to turn the damn thing of, I'm playing my AFP now much more because of that problem.
