Default RE: Ryobi 31cc Conversion Done.. ?? Before I run it.

God I hate to ask this question, as I know it's going to open a can of worms...

What's the word on using AMSOIL in these conversions? I've always used "Pennzoil for Aircooled Motors", but I just inspected an ultralight airplane engine that had 600 hours of hard training use on it. The engine has no corrosion or carbon at all, and you can still see the honing crosshatch marks in the cylinder wall. It had been run the whole time, (except for break-in), on AMSOIL at 100 to 1. I've heard of a few people using AMSOIL in these little conversion motors, but they seem to be using it at a richer ratio. What's the consensus??

Thanks,
