deffinatly not a myth, my CG on my new cougar is about the rear of the CG range. it hovers well, BUT, my old cougar with the CG way back (about 1/2 chord) was easy, pop it up and use rudder to keep it there, elevator wasnt a problem too much untill you started to torque roll it
