You will experience what you just described during the break in process. Try to tigthen the idle screw to bring up the idle speed a little. Change your plugs too as the break in setting is (should be) very rich and you'll end up fouling the plug. Not familiar with the epic so no suggestions for LNS and HNS adjustments.
