You might have to charge ur glow plug alot this way, but when you start it, leave the ignightor on for a while. when i first got my tmaxx i duct taped the rotostart(old version) to the rear bumper and had it plugged in so i could drive around with somehting keeping the glow plug warm. Leave it in and let it run around a bit

Like stated many places, run it for 2-3 minutes and get it t up to temp, then shut it down
