read your directions, carefully. Learn to tune it yourself. If you take it to your LHS ask if they have the time to "show" you how to properly tune it. If you take it there for them to tune it, you will be relying on them all the time.

Stock up like 2 or 3 plugs, after a while you wont be changing them so often when you learn your trucks quirks.

I always purchase by the gallon. bulk is cheaper. Make sure you close it tight. I also like tower because they sell you gallons in 4 quarts which is cool because your only exposing a quart at a time when you open them.
