Just wondering if the Gee Bee style airplanes are good flyers for a second plane. I like the looks of them but don't know much more about them. Are they difficult to fly?
Very simple answer...

NO!

The reason the GB is so unusual looking is that it was designed to take a BIG engine and wrap the smalles airframe possible around it.

They can be a handful for an experienced flier, a rookie should avoid them.
