RE: b29 bomber
Hi everybody,
I just had a crash with my B-29. The plane is very smooth but with the 4 engine rotating clockwise (if you look from behind) there is a big P factor that make the airplane turn left when full throttle. So when you turn left, do not turn too much. Otherwise the plane is going in a left spiral dive that takes a lot of altitude to correct. I was flying at about 30ft when I tried to turn left to avoid some trees. The aiplane started to trun left and dive as I applied power. It took a lot of speed and I was not able to bring the nose up before it touch the ground! The result is a 2 pieces fusellage ( it break right before the wings) the left wing came out and the plastice engine support as a big crack between the 2 left engine. Also the stabiliser is craked at the point where it touch the fuselage. After that I decided to convert my plane in a 3 channel. I am going to fix the damage and add the radio gear. I will keep posting to show you some picture of my conversion.
