It is designed to reduce the overall size of the "aerobatic box" by eliminating the three zones that we used to have to place the figures in. Your are now able to "kind of" fly your own rhythm and place the figures closer together. It elininates those long straight lines to get from one zone to another. This really helps, my opinion, in the lower classes to " stay away from others when using 2 flight lines. You just fly shorter lines and stay more toward your side of the box.
